Studio Love&Arch is available for new projects
An expert in renovation, Giuseppe Lovecchio is an architect at Studio LOVE&ARCH, an architecture practice based in Monopoli. After turning to the field of restoration and redevelopment later in his career, he ventured into what he calls “rural design”, namely the creation of furnishing elements using modern techniques and materials but following the lines and shapes of antique pieces.
The key to Giuseppe Lovecchio's success? Giving new life to objects of the past. Reusing and repurposing items formerly used in farming, such as troughs, wells or farmyards, is at the heart of his architectural philosophy. Through careful study of the relationship between the the characteristic landscape and architecture of the region famous for its "trullo” houses, the architect has been inspired to examine architectural strategies aimed at facilitating change as well as the transformation and improvement of historical buildings and cultural heritage. The primary aim is to "inhabit" these places of marginal appearance through projects focused on the tourism/hospitality sector. Each of Giuseppe Lovecchio’s projects involves careful analysis of the natural environment and its characteristics, for solutions that perfectly combine innovation and respect for the site.
